Mail-Back Kits: how it works
Four simple steps from ordering your kit to receiving your certificate of recycling.
Select your kit
Choose and purchase containers for the items you need to dispose of. We offer kits for 4ft. and 8ft. fluorescent lamps, LED bulbs, CFLs, ballasts, batteries, electronics, mercury devices and more.
Receive & fill with waste
Pack the kit at your own pace. Each kit includes the container, all shipping fees, recycling costs and a certificate of recycling, with step-by-step instructions pre-printed in English and Spanish. Kits arrive in 6–11 business days, and you have a full year to return them.
Schedule pickup via FedEx
Every kit ships with a pre-paid FedEx return label. Once your container is full and sealed, call the FedEx number on the box to schedule a free pickup, or drop it at any FedEx location. It's delivered to one of BulbCycle's permitted U.S. facilities.
Request your certificate
After your waste is received and processed, request your Certificate of Recycling by logging into the website printed on your kit. Please allow three weeks for processing.
